#TeamTUSD: Christina Petrino

A woman in glasses smiles in front of a green chalkboardChristina is a 3rd grade GATE cluster teacher who’s been at Sewell for several years. She’s also taught 1st and 2nd grade in the past. She originally came to Sewell so her own kids could attend, and ended up loving it here!

She says Sewell feels like a family and everyone supports each other.

Christina’s youngest is in 5th grade now, and she’s loved having her kids on campus with her. Outside of school, she’s a busy baseball mom, taking her kids to games and practices, and supporting her oldest son’s love for music, which started right at Sewell in 4th grade orchestra!

She’s also coached cross-country, mentored new teachers, and is a big fan of the OMA arts program.

Thank you, Christina, for all you do for the Sewell community!
